Candamo 

Located in the side of a mountain sighting Nalon river we find San Román de Candamo's motocross racetrack which is known for organizing events for the Asturian regional motocross championship and which main characteristic is its clayey terrain and ground's severe inclination.

Track flows vertically up and down the hill with an intense descend reached from a fast left hand corner, several small tabletops and ascents that get acceleration bumps frequently. Last two tabletops before the straight downhill are the biggest, with the second one being closer to the road above the track, slightly curved with a limited space to accelerate so that's the most technical jump of all.

Terrain is slippery when wet and rocky if not recently groomed, however in good conditions it is fun to ride.

As an spectator, Candamo offers good possibilities. From the local road up to the track we can sight the major part of its jumps and corners. Moreover it is embedded in the middle of mother nature and with steps distance to several trekking routes. To find good homemade asturian food is never a problem in the area.
